About Chloe

Hello! I’m a violin tutor with 11+ years of teaching experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Violin Performance. My approach to music education goes beyond technique—it's rooted in using the violin as a tool for self-expression, emotional release, and mindfulness. I believe music has the power to heal, tell stories, and reconnect us with our inner voice. In our sessions, we explore the violin not just as an instrument, but as a means of grounding and growth. I incorporate improvisation, journaling, and soundscape creation to help students process emotions, reduce stress, and connect deeply with themselves. I’ve had the privilege of working with neurodiverse learners, trauma survivors, and adult students seeking a more therapeutic and affirming musical journey. About the lesson

I offer warm, interactive, and goal-oriented violin lessons designed to help you thrive in orchestral and ensemble settings. Whether you're preparing for youth orchestra, community ensembles, or aiming for the symphony stage, my lessons focus on building the essential skills you need to shine in a group. We work on ensemble blend, following a conductor, orchestral etiquette, and managing dynamics with awareness and control.

Each session is tailored to your goals, with clear milestones and structured progress tracking. I incorporate score reading, simulated ensemble exercises, and collaborative learning to mirror real orchestral experiences. My approach helps you feel confident in sectional rehearsals, understand your role in the group, and adapt quickly to cues and shifts in interpretation.

For students coming from diverse musical backgrounds—whether you're a singer exploring violin to deepen your musicianship, or a performer crossing into classical territory—I offer guidance that bridges technical skill with expressive clarity.
