About Tanayah
Hello, my name is Tanayah Hill, and I am 22 years old. I graduated from Lake Taylor High School with a 3.7 GPA while completing dual enrollment at Norfolk Technical Center, where I earned both my high school diploma and a certification in Criminal Justice. I also hold a certification in Financial Literacy, and throughout my academic years I earned 20+ math awards while maintaining placement on the A-B Honor Roll. Although math has always been a strong subject for me, I also excel in history, personal finance, science, and college-level courses such as Sociology, English, Quantitative Reasoning, and Introduction to African American Studies. Because of these strengths, I have gained tutoring experience helping peers and younger students in math, history, and English, breaking down complex concepts in ways that are easy to understand. Tutoring has not only allowed me to reinforce my own skills but has also given me the opportunity to build patience, leadership, and communication. Currently, I am a student at Tidewater Community College (TCC), pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice, with a focus on Criminal Justice and Forensic Science.
