As a tutor, my primary goal is to help students not just memorize information, but truly understand it. My approach is built on three key pillars: a student-centered methodology, a structured yet flexible class format, and the use of interactive tools. My Teaching Methodology: From Foundation to Fluency

My teaching techniques and methods are designed to build a strong foundation and then layer on more complex skills. Here's how I typically approach a subject:

Diagnostic Assessment: I always begin with an initial assessment to understand a student's current knowledge, strengths, and areas that need improvement. This could be a short test, a conversation, or a review of their past work. This helps me create a personalized learning plan.

Active Learning: I believe that students learn best by doing, not just by listening. Instead of a one-way lecture, I use Socratic questioning to encourage critical thinking. Independent Application (15 minutes): The student will then work on a task independently while I observe and provide support as needed. This could be a comprehension passage, a creative writing prompt, or a set of math problems.

Wrap-up & Homework (5 minutes): We'll summarize the main points of the session and I'll assign relevant homework. This homework is not just busywork; it's carefully chosen to solidify the day's learning and prepare for the next session.
