About Isolde

I am a dedicated piano teacher with 12 years of experience, holding an Associate of Music in Piano Skills. I specialize in working with students preparing for church worship leading, accompanying community theater productions, and performing in professional wedding bands. My teaching style is personalized and motivating, designed to help each student reach their unique musical goals. I focus on building strong technical skills while encouraging creativity and expression. Whether you’re learning to support a worship team, follow a theater score, or play confidently at events, I tailor lessons to fit your needs. I believe music should be enjoyable and rewarding, so I create a positive and encouraging learning environment. Many of my students have gone on to perform confidently in various settings, and I love helping them grow both as musicians and performers. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making music theory clear and practical for every piano student. I cover important topics like music theory fundamentals, chord progressions, inversions, and harmonic analysis. I work closely with The Exam Taker and The Classical Performer, providing tailored guidance to strengthen both their theory knowledge and piano skills. Lessons are designed to build a strong foundation that supports composition and improvisation. I believe that understanding theory boosts confidence and creativity at the piano.

Students practice theory concepts hands-on, using the keyboard to explore how chords and harmonies work. This method makes complex ideas easier to grasp. I encourage questions and focus on steady progress, ensuring learners feel supported every step of the way.
