About Sonia
Hey there! :) My name is Sonia, and I am a native German speaker living in London. I am a highly organised, dedicated and methodical individual. I graduated from King's College London with a degree in Biomedical Science. I was born and raised in Germany and moved to the UK at the age of 15. I then continued school in the UK and did select German as one of my GCSE's. I therefore have a vast amount of knowledge of the GCSE AQA curriculum. In year 11, I was a language assistant to my teacher. I have also formed, led and developed a language club for the years below and I am confident in teaching all key stages including key stage 3. This enhanced my leadership skills as well as my communication skills. To be able to lead a club demands discipline and morale to effectively teach other students. The communication skills I have gained did help me for being a mentee at King's College London. It was important that I would enhance their knowledge and skills based on their individual developmental needs. I have tutored for a number of years and my students have all gone on to achieve great results. Happy to work on coursework, homework and general work.
