About Tithi

I am a dedicated Maths and Physics tutor with over five years of teaching experience, currently completing a BSc in Mathematics. In high school, I achieved A* in Maths, Further Maths, and Computing, and an A in Physics, which has equipped me with a deep understanding of the subjects I teach. Furthermore, having worked with students across a range of abilities, I have developed a structured and personalised teaching approach designed to maximise progress.

I provide methodical, personalised lessons tailored to each student’s learning style, combining structured teaching, exam practice, and progress tracking to help students gain confidence and achieve excellent results.

I take pride in being kind and patient, providing a professional, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and confident in their ability to succeed.

Although I specialise in Maths and Physics, I also tutor Biology, Chemistry, and Geography. I achieved all 9s in these subjects at GCSE, giving me a strong foundation and understanding of the content, which allows me to provide structured, personalised lessons across all these areas.

About the lesson

I believe successful learning starts with confidence and comfort. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions, while tailoring every lesson to their individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning style.

Each class begins with reviewing previous material to reinforce understanding and address any difficulties from the previous lesson.

Progressing further to different topics, I then introduce new concepts in a clear, concise and a step-by-step manner, ensuring the student fully understands the reasoning and logic behind each method rather than simply memorising.

Our lessons will also include guided practice, exam-style questions as per topic and past papers to further solidify their confidence for their real exams.

Within our lessons, students can expect a structured and methodical approach to learning. We will work through specific checklists from boards such as AQA, Edexcel, and OCR, allowing me to systematically track which topics have been thoroughly understood, identify any gaps in knowledge, and tailor future lessons to match syllabus requirements.
