About Ayomide Olakunle

Who I Am & Why I Teach?

I’m a passionate and dedicated Mathematics and Further Mathematics tutor dedicated to helping students truly understand what they’re learning and not just memorize it.

My journey with math hasn’t always been about getting answers right. It's been about discovering how powerful clear thinking can be. That’s what I now help my students develop — the ability to approach problems with confidence and logic.

I chose to teach because I’ve seen how much students struggle, not because math is too hard, but because it’s often taught in a way that feels confusing or rushed. I enjoy breaking complex ideas into simple, relatable steps and watching that relatable moment when everything finally clicks.

Beyond just passing exams like WAEC, NECO, or IGCSE, my goal is to help you build a strong foundation, think independently, and carry that confidence into any challenge you face.

About the lesson

My Approach to Lessons:

I believe Mathematics is not about memorizing formulas — it’s about understanding patterns and building confidence step by step.

Every student is different. I start by identifying your strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in foundational knowledge.

2. Simplify Complex Concepts
I break down difficult topics into simple, relatable ideas using real-life examples and clear explanations.

3. Build from Foundations
We strengthen core principles first, so advanced topics (like calculus or further maths concepts) become easier to grasp.

4. Active Learning
You don’t just watch — you solve. I guide you through problems, then let you practice with structured support.

5. Exam-Focused Strategy
Past questions, timing techniques, and smart problem-solving methods to help you excel in WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, and more.

6. Consistent Feedback & Improvement
I track your progress, correct mistakes, and adjust lessons to ensure steady improvement.

The goal is simple: move you from confusion → clarity → confidence → top performance.
