About Harper

"Simply put, I teach guitar because I want others to experience the joy of making music. It is a process of discovery that started for me 13 years ago, and I love sharing that path with others.

I work with 443 students to develop fingerpicking, chord transitions, and rhythm guitar. My approach incorporates scales and modes alongside electric technique to ensure a complete understanding of the instrument. I keep things moving. You can expect a structured journey that prioritizes your individual comfort and long-term development."

About the lesson

"Your first lesson starts with a clear assessment of your current playing position and chord transitions. We immediately address the physical connection between your hands and the fretboard to build confidence. I focus on rhythm guitar and scales to establish a solid foundation for your future practice. My method integrates electric technique through a monthly recorded review of progress to track your technical growth over time.

I provide a 7.0 minute optional check to ensure we hit your specific goals. You get to see exactly how your skills translate into real music each month."
