About Annie

Dedicated and passionate music educator with a strong commitment to active pedagogy and the transformative power of education. I believe that through musical education students can develop into well-rounded individuals and free-thinking citizens. With a deep interest in social sciences and the arts, I leverage their interdisciplinary nature to enhance learning experiences across various subjects, including languages and sports. I have extensive experience working with children and people of diverse age groups, recognizing the unique potential and challenges each age range presents.

About the lesson

Inspired by pedagogical pioneers such as Celestín Freinet, Makarenko, and John Dewey, I incorporate principles of Learning by Doing, the intrinsic goodness of the child proposed by Rousseau, and the importance of play in my teaching methods. My teaching approach is student-centered, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for music. I understand that the process of each person is different, so I value it and look that as a teacher I can guide the student to the knowledge that he/she seeks.
