About Kate
I have been both a free-lance and employed tutor since 2016. I have worked with students born without English as their second language, students with learning disabilities and students who just needed an extra helping hand. I average a D-B+ improvement and love to build a lasting bond with my students beyond the work we accomplish together, to ensure lessons feel like a welcoming, engaging experience, rather than more of the same.

Details
If a lesson must be cancelled, please provide at least 24 hrs notice unless it is an absolutely dire emergency or an unavoidable situation. I like to think I'm very understanding, but I'm also pretty busy! Any lessons cancelled within 3 hours of the start time (of that lesson) I ask to be paid half of the lesson price for. This is excepted if there is a family emergency, sickness requiring a hospital trip or, for example, a sudden death in the family.
