About Shreya
I'm currently tutoring for computer science classes at the Academic Assistance and Tutoring Center at UC Davis, where I've learned a lot of tutoring strategies and the majority of the college students I've worked with have reported a positive effect on their understanding of the subject material, test scores, and ability to complete homework and projects as a result of the tutoring I've done there. My undergraduate major in Applied Mathematics has made me extremely prepared to tutor any math subject.

When I tutor I always make sure to ask questions, confirm students' understanding of concepts, and then have students work through practice problems. I make sure my students are fully engaged with the material and that they learn by doing. The lessons are for high school math students and undergraduate college math students.
