About Eli

I recently graduated from UC Davis, where I double majored in Spanish and International Relations. During my time at Davis, I worked as a bus driver trainer, gaining valuable experience teaching one-on-one.

As a trainer, I kept things fun. Aside from getting to know my trainees, I kept them comfortable and engaged by coming up with games that made training exciting while keeping trainees on their toes. I bring the same approach to teaching. My ultimate aim is to help my students achieve their academic goals, and I believe it's easiest to maintain the necessary focus and consistency by making the learning process enjoyable.

Having scored well on the LSAT (170+), I can help relay the most important strategies that allowed me to succeed. We can work through all three sections of the test, identifying the keys to success for each. Additionally, I can provide insight into the long-term studying strategies that were most effective for me, and provide recommendations for effective and efficient studying.

About the lesson

My lessons emphasize an interactive approach to learning. I seek to engage students by asking questions, creating thought-provoking hypotheticals, and playing learning games to reinforce content.

LSAT lessons are for students preparing for the LSAT who want a cost-effective one-on-one experience to supplement or develop a comprehensive study plan. Having recently scored highly on the LSAT, I can answer questions about the current state of the test and provide insight into the most important strategies and test-day preparation to help you succeed.

My English lessons are for students of all ages and levels of mastery. I can help with grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and editing. Whether you are looking for a tutor for your child or are struggling with a college-level class, I can tailor a lesson plan to cater to your needs.

My Spanish lessons are designed for beginner or intermediate students, especially those who want to learn grammar and vocabulary. I grew up speaking Spanish at home and received a BA in Spanish from UC Davis, so I'm very comfortable helping students advance their reading, writing, and speaking abilities.

I have experience teaching on-on-one and working with kids, and I can't wait to help you achieve!
