About David

- What kind of experience do you have?

Teaching experience:
-Private tuition in London and Somerset area to students of all ages (2007-present)
-Teaching in the internationally renowned Wells Cathedral Music School (one of the five established music schools in the UK) to 'specialist' pianists (2011-present)
-Teaching in Millfield School (2012-2015)
-Gained a distinction in the Art of Teaching course at the Royal College of Music (2009)
-Outreach work in primary schools (2006 and 2009)

Performing experience:
Solo recitals, chamber music and concertos throughout England, Wales and abroad in venues such as:
-St. Martin-in-the-Fields
-Wells Cathedral (broadcast on local radio)

- Where and with whom did you train?

I studied at Wells Cathedral Music School and at the Royal College of Music with Professor John Byrne (piano), and Richard Causton (composition).

Dame Fanny Waterman (founder of the Leeds International Piano Competition), Howard Shelley (internationally renowned concert pianist and conductor), Vanessa Latarche (Head of Keyboard at the Royal College of Music) and Niel Immelman (Professor at the Royal College of Music).
