I will never go a lesson without asking how you're doing, what new trend I should know about, or what I can do better. My lesson plan starts well before the lesson. I first take a look at the syllabus of the course and example assignments. I create practice problems that build on topics in the course so the student isn't thrown in the deep end. Most importantly, I will go through previous exams and assignments to ensure the student understands their mistakes so they are ready for future assignments. My lessons are for high schoolers in STEM courses including AP Calculus, Physics, and Statistics.
