About Yi Xuan

Hello! I’m a passionate and versatile tutor with a strong academic background and diverse skill set. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Data Science and Analytics, and I enjoy making learning both engaging and effective. My Teaching Approach:
Every student learns differently, so my lessons are always tailored to your needs, goals, and learning style. Whether you’re learning Mandarin, English, Mathematics, or Songwriting, I’ll create a personalised plan that focuses on your strengths while helping you improve in areas you find challenging.

I believe in a practical, engaging, and results-oriented approach. For language learning, this means focusing on real-life communication and cultural understanding. For math and STEM subjects, I use clear, step-by-step explanations with problem-solving practice. For songwriting, I guide you through creative techniques while encouraging your own unique style.

A Typical Lesson Plan
- Warm-up & Review – A short recap of the previous lesson to refresh your memory and get you engaged.
- New Content – Introduction of new concepts, vocabulary, or techniques using examples and interactive explanations.
- Practice – Exercises, role-play, problem-solving, or creative writing depending on the subject.
- Wrap-up & Homework – Summary of key points, feedback, and a small task to reinforce learning until the next lesson.

With this structure, you’ll see steady progress while enjoying the process, no matter which subject you choose to learn with me.
