About RACHEAL

My name is Rachael, and I am a PhD researcher in Biological Sciences specializing in bioinformatics, data science, and machine learning applications in genomics. I hold a strong academic foundation in microbiology and bioinformatics, and I work extensively with large-scale biological datasets, advanced statistical modeling, and predictive machine learning techniques.

I specialize in Python, R, and Bash for data analysis, automation, and scientific computing. My work involves building real-world data pipelines, applying machine learning models, and interpreting complex datasets—experience that I bring directly into my teaching.

I am known for breaking down complex concepts into clear, practical steps while maintaining a high standard of learning. I work best with serious students who are committed to improving their skills, whether for academic success, research, or transitioning into data science careers.

If you are looking for structured, results-driven guidance from someone actively working in the field, I provide a professional and focused learning experience tailored to your goals.

My name is Rachael, and I teach Python, R, Bash, and applied statistics with a strong focus on real-world data science and research applications. My approach is practical, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals. I believe students learn best by doing, so lessons are built around hands-on exercises, real datasets, and guided problem-solving rather than memorizing theory.

A typical lesson starts with a clear explanation of key concepts, followed by live coding, interactive exercises, and short tasks to reinforce understanding. I also help students work through their own projects, assignments, or research data, ensuring they can apply what they learn independently.

What sets me apart is my background in bioinformatics and machine learning, where I work with large-scale genomic and biological datasets. This allows me to teach not just programming, but how to think like a data scientist and solve complex, real-world problems.

My lessons are ideal for undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and professionals in data science, biology, or related fields, as well as beginners who want a solid, practical foundation.
