"Calculating margins at a Big 4 firm matters less than understanding the underlying data flow. I graduated from UChicago and spent 8 years navigating corporate finance before realizing that teaching provides more clarity than spreadsheets ever could.
Most people struggle with nested IF logic because they never learned to think in blocks, not just cells. My technical repertoire includes date and time functions, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, and complex error handling. I treat Excel as a logic engine rather than a calculator.
