About Daniel

I’m a classically trained oil painter and experienced teaching artist who has taught drawing and painting in well-regarded art school settings as well as through private lessons. I’ve worked with many ages and skill levels, and over time I’ve developed a clear, supportive way of teaching the fundamentals of observation, drawing, and oil painting. I maintain an active studio practice alongside teaching, so what I share with students comes directly from ongoing professional work.

About the lesson

Students take my classes to learn traditional drawing and oil painting in a way that is clear, structured, and genuinely supportive. I break down classical methods into practical steps so beginners can start confidently, while more experienced artists refine technique and deepen their understanding. I meet each student at their level, with focused guidance and thoughtful feedback that leads to visible progress and a stronger personal practice.
