About Akshaiya
Akshaiya Karthikeyan is a passionate and versatile dance educator with over nine years of classical training and four years of teaching experience across school and academy settings. A graduate of Kerala Kalamandalam, she specializes in Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, and Bharatanatyam, while also incorporating semi-classical, folk, Bollywood, and Western styles to create inclusive, engaging classes for students of all ages

With over nine years of classical training and a rich teaching background, I blend structured curriculum planning with personalized instruction to nurture each dancer’s unique journey.
My methodology is student-centered, fostering a growth mindset while empowering learners to explore rhythm, storytelling, and stage presence. Whether through Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, or fusion styles like Bollywood, folk, and Western, every session is designed to be authentic, creative, and performance-ready.
Students experience more than technique—they grow artistically and personally. From acclaimed school productions to solo showcases, my lessons offer transformative opportunities that build confidence, cultural appreciation, and expressive power.
