About Miranda
I have been dancing for around 15 years, with experience in modern, lyrical jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, belly dance, ballroom, and African dance. I have been choreographing and studying dance improvisation for 4 years. I am currently attending college as a dance major, and I'm also working towards a certificate in Early Childhood Education. I taught modern and ballet in a Salem, OR dance studio briefly before the COVID-19 quarantine in 2020.

For one-on-one classes, I like to teach and plan lessons based on the student's level and their goals to ensure effective progression in technique, strength, flexibility, and creativity.
For group classes, I consider each student's level and personal needs for progression to decide upon an appropriate lesson plan that will be beneficial for every student.
I do not teach any one method or approach for any dance style, as I believe they all have unique qualities and should all be practiced and introduced to dancers.
