About Madi

Throughout my 11 years of dance, I have studied Hip Hop, Contemporary/Modern, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and African styles. I currently hold an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University & am in my senior year to obtain my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a minor in Dance from Kennesaw State University, where I intend to receive my Master’s degree in Social Work.

About the lesson

I typically base my classes on feeling. I believe that movement is the best way for people to express themselves. I want my students to learn how to create their own stories and narratives with whatever steps and counts I give them. It’s up to them to figure out what that story is and how to present it.

We were in a dance program in high school together, so I can first hand see the passion she has for choreography. She is a caring and dedicated individual. I have not seen some so willing to work with anyone on any type of dance. You would be crazy to not have her as a teacher.
