About Abla

I am a French native. I moved to Edinburgh 6 years ago now. I passed my diploma to teach French as a foreign language (DAEFLE). I have 7 years experience to support French curriculum learning for primary and high school with CNED French structure. I also teach at the French institute at Edinburgh. I help to prepare DALF and DELF diploma all levels. I am currently taking the training to become a DELF A1 and A2 level examiner/corrector. I helped successfully students to succeed National 5, Higher and Advanced higher in french

About the lesson

Bespoke and progressive lessons with a learner centred approach for any ages. Each 1-hour lesson explores the language through a chosen theme to use it as a tool to express themselves and communicate more confidently. I studied language science and I am a certified tutor for learning French as a foreign language.

Perfect! Best French tutor I have ever had (I have had a great many). Really focuses on developing the spoken part as the lesson progresses but is also extremely responsive to the difficulty level experienced by the student and adapts. Therefore the lesson is not frustrating, just very enjoyable (which is the key to any great lesson). Also plans excellent lessons around working in and developing your current level. In this respect, a hard working and experienced tutor. As a professional educator myself, I would rate Abla very highly indeed, in all aspects of the learning experience.
