About B

I have a BS in Molecular/Cell Biology and a BA in Science Communication.

I never use the “e”-word to describe a problem: if this material was easy, tutors wouldn’t exist in the first place. That said, my job isn’t to dispense answers or do your homework for you, but to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be.

Over the last 5 years, I have built an extensive toolkit to help you develop mastery of the material. Among the hundreds of people I've tutored, many now work in related industries or are currently pursuing advanced degrees.

About the lesson

I don't believe in "one size fits all" education.

In our first (FREE!) meeting, we will talk about your goals, learning style, experience, accessibility needs, and general attitudes toward the subject matter. A few days before each tutoring session, I ask that you send your homework, notes, previous quizzes, study guides, or any other materials that you're working with.

This will help me custom tailor things to fit your individual needs.

Cancellation policy:
-No charge if >24 hour notice given.
-If you cancel without 24 hour notice, I charge half rate for the time.
-If I cancel without 24 hour notice, I will provide a make-up session free of charge.

Group sessions are charged at $35/hour per person.
