About Kirtika

I am a certified cybersecurity professional currently working as a Cyber Technologist, with experience across cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, emerging security concepts, technical research, and internal digital projects.

My work includes AI and cybersecurity research, NetSuite AI integrations, vendor solution analysis, technical training, internal portals, security awareness content, technical documentation, and simplifying complex technology for different audiences.

I am also a Deakin University graduate and achieved a High Distinction in my studies. Alongside my professional work, I have experience as a speaker and panelist at technology and community events, where I have presented and discussed topics related to cybersecurity, AI, careers, and emerging technology.

My technical knowledge includes cybersecurity fundamentals, AI and generative AI, agentic AI, cloud concepts, AWS, Docker, web technologies, online safety, security frameworks, threat concepts, and modern cybersecurity technologies.

I enjoy teaching because I am good at turning complicated topics into simple, practical explanations. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and flexible, and I adapt lessons for children, complete beginners, students, and learners who want to build more structured cybersecurity knowledge.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to make AI, cybersecurity and online safety easy to understand for different age groups and learning levels.

For younger children, especially around ages 6–11, I use stories, games, missions, quizzes and simple real-life examples to make topics like passwords, scams, privacy, online safety and AI fun and engaging.

For older students and intermediate learners, I can provide more structured cybersecurity training, including concepts that support beginner-level certification preparation and a stronger understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.

I also teach complete beginners who may have little or no previous experience with cybersecurity, AI or technology. Lessons are adapted depending on the student’s age, confidence, goals and current knowledge.

Topics can include online safety, phishing and scams, passwords, privacy, cyber threats, AI tools, responsible AI use, cybersecurity fundamentals and introductory security concepts.

Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes and focus on practical understanding rather than memorising difficult terminology.

I currently work in cybersecurity and AI and regularly research emerging technologies, create training material and explain technical concepts in simple language.

No previous coding or cybersecurity experience is required to get started.
