About Max
As stated previously I'm currently studying a Master's degree in Cyber Security at King's College London. I previously graduated with a 1st class Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Surrey. I'm a half-Filipino British student who has been studying within the British education system since primary school and have always had a knack for teaching, whether that be instruments, or academics. I am excited for the opportunity to tutor students in a field that I'm so passionate about.

I believe that enjoyment and engagement are the primary facilitators for learning, especially in a technical subject like computer science. Having only recently gone through 4 academic levels of computer science (secondary school to postgraduate), I am acutely aware of the struggles and pitfalls that one may face when presented with this challenging subject and therefore am well equipped to guide students to success. I approach lessons with a relaxed demeanor whilst ensuring that learning targets are met. One of my biggest personal gripes is having to sit through long explanations with no interaction, and so my lessons are designed to actively engage with students as much as possible - to pique interest and to inject excitement about what they're learning.
