About Saffron

I am a current university student pursuing a degree in Education, Learning, and Teaching. Coming from a long line of educators in my family, I have developed a strong passion for it. My interest stems from my love for research and my belief that knowledge is power—it creates opportunities and helps individuals grow. With a strong academic foundation and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed, I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. My professionalism, dedication and attention to detail ensure high-quality lessons that inspire confidence and promote growth.

About the lesson

I offer engaging and interactive online English lessons for beginner to intermediate learners, aged 12 and above, including teenagers and adults. My teaching approach focuses on real-life communication (CLT) and task-based learning (TBL) to help students build confidence in using English for practical situations, such as writing emails or holding conversations. I also incorporate scaffolding techniques, ensuring lessons gradually increase in complexity while providing structured support through visuals, prompts and exercises. My lessons typically last 30–60 minutes (depending on the students' concentration abilities) and include a warm-up, a focused main lesson, practical activities like role-plays or writing tasks and a wrap-up with feedback. For beginners, I provide explicit phonics and grammar instruction to strengthen pronunciation and sentence structure. As a BA Education, Teaching & Learning student, I have a strong foundation in pedagogy, along with experience in lesson planning and adapting to different learning styles. Being a native English speaker, I help students develop natural fluency and accuracy. My lessons incorporate engaging materials such as videos, pictures, and interactive slides, tailored to suit various learning preferences. Whether you want to improve general English, conversational skills, grammar, or academic English, my lessons are designed to support your goals in a structured yet flexible way.
