About Earl
As a teacher and mentor, I know how important it is to create impactful learning environments for the youth. The qualifications I possess include mentorship, leadership, and pedagogical skills from experiences within academia and the Belonging and Inclusion fields.
Over the course of my career, I learned some of the best practices in how to educate and engage with students when teaching History, World Geography, English, and Humanities as a whole. I collaborated with colleagues to design units on research skills, focusing on key concepts surrounding the development of global civilizations, and taught units focusing on themes, geography, text coding, and paragraphs.

As a teacher, learning history today is more important than ever. I believe that it not only teaches you about the past, but informs our decisions of today. Therefore, I want to focus on how we can educate young students in equitable ways that positively shape their lives and their future. It is imperative to educate those that will soon represent such an evolving and ever-changing world.
I have experience teaching US history and Global history as well. My pedagogy skills will include teaching content that students will not only remember, but also be able to apply in other aspects of their academic capabilities (research, contextualization, inference, analysis).
