I have a Masters degree in Middle Grades Math Education. I currently teach 6th grade math. I absolutely LOVE what I do.
I love the light bulb moments when a studentgets when they understand a new concept. I also enjoy seeing students use previously learned strategies to help them move forward in their math learning.

Math is my jam. I love seeing students go from “I hate math”, or “Math is hard“ to having a grasp of concepts that will take them to and through more difficult concepts.
I understand that most of sixth grade math is new concepts for students. In 6th grade students are introduced to integers for the first time.
I’m interested in helping students learn foundational skills to help them become successful math students.
