About Jude
Hi I'm Jude, I'm currently in my second year studying Spanish and politics at Newcastle University. I tutor Spanish online and in-person using audio/visual, and text resources to teach A-level and GCSE students Spanish.
I am fluent in Spanish, after years of study and visiting Spain many times.
My past tutoring experience has focused on preparing GCSE students for speaking and listening exams but also includes help with vocabulary and grammar. I have also recently started learning Catalan
I have a broad knowledge of Spanish and Catalan politics, and Latin American history.

I am fluent in Spanish, achieving an A* in my A-level Spanish, currently studying Spanish and Politics at Newcastle University. Specifically able to help with IRPs regarding Spanish politics, Catalonia, and Latin American history.
Lessons can last from 30 mins to a full hour depending on the preference and schedule of students.
Lessons are tailored to the needs of students. My teaching generally covers speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary and grammar. Lessons are conducted online or in person (subject to location).
For speaking tutoring this involves casual conversation practice around vocabulary and grammar from the Spanish GCSE/A-level course, eventually progressing to mock speaking exams and practice and help with A-Level independent research projects (IRP). For reading and listening tutoring I provide mock exams and work students through vocabulary and grammar from sources relating to the course. At GCSE level that would involve blogs and speaking YouTube videos, and at A-level newspapers and interviews and news podcasts.
