About Alex
About My Tutoring I offer professional GCSE Mathematics tutoring tailored to each student’s needs. My lessons focus on building a solid understanding of key concepts, developing problem-solving skills, and strengthening exam technique. I break down complex ideas into simple steps and guide students through worked examples before encouraging independent practice with personalised feedback. Lesson Structure Each lesson is 60 minutes, structured to maximise progress: a short recap to identify gaps, focused teaching of new or challenging topics, and practice questions to build confidence and accuracy. Qualifications & Experience I am currently studying A Levels, including Mathematics, after achieving excellent GCSE results. Having recently completed my own exams, I bring both up-to-date subject knowledge and a clear understanding of what examiners are looking for. This allows me to explain concepts in a relatable way while maintaining high academic standards. Who I Teach I specialise in tutoring GCSE Maths students (ages 14–16) of all abilities.
