My method tends to be very similar to the one several teachers use for example first identifying the task which may be poetry, creative writting or even comparitive essays. i would then ask the students questions regarding the task and guide them through it. After that I would help them go over their weaknesses if any to work on and set a task for next time which i would be happy enough to mark.
