About Akhil
I am a person who wants to work one on one with students to help them achieve their full academic potential. For high school I attended the South Carolina Governor's school for Science and Mathematics (GSSM) one of the best schools in South Carolina and is known for its academic rigor in STEM. While at GSSM I excelled in the subjects of physics, mathematics, and computer science. I earned some of the top marks in the class and was appointed to be a tutor of the above subjects. I have experience tutoring to a high level in the subjects listed above and have helped students achieve academic success in these subjects. I will carefully tailor lesson plans to ensure that you understand the concepts which you are struggling with and walk you through several problems that utilize those concepts. In the end I want to make sure that you are confident in the subjects which you requested tutoring in.

My lessons are for anyone who find themselves struggling or wanting additional help in their AP classes of Calculus AB and Physics 1. They are also for students who are struggling or want additional help in Algebra and Geometry. I am a big proponent of practice makes you perfect. My lessons plans will be tailored for you and to help you tackle concepts or prepare for a major exam. A typical lesson would be we would first review the concepts which you are struggling with. I will teach the concepts in different ways based on the type of learning style which you prefer. After the review of the concepts I will help you through practice problems, which apply the concepts which we just reviewed. The problems will start of easy and progressively get harder. The problems would be tailored for the student. Towards the end we will solve problems which combine multiple concepts.
