I am currently a deputy manager working in a nursery pre-school, with an enthusiastic and active outlook reflected through passion for working with children and families and adults. I have a wide range of experience of teaching from young two year olds at my nursery to older children at holiday clubs, to adults during seminars at university and training days for staff at work. I have also worked as a one to one assistant for children with special educational needs, therefore proving my ability to adapt my teaching approaches to make them personal and effective. My general teaching approach involves much patience along side huge passion and motivation.
I have much knowledge of how children learn, which supports my ability to tutor children, as well as being useful to pass this information and knowledge on when tutoring adults at university.
My personal skills include empathy, being proactive, sensitivity, professionalism and confidence and assertiveness, shown in my current position as well as past work places and when volunteering within a variety of settings.
I have a great passion for sports and being outdoors and my own education in physical education as well as my passion for a range of sports supports my understanding of how sport works as well as your body. This proves my ability to tutor students for PE.
