About Olivia
I am passionate about English and am planning to study it at university, having a particular preference for novels and other literature. I’ve loved to read from a young age across all genres and I would love to promote and inspire this in others. I also do creative writing in my spare time, helping me to get full marks in my creative writing coursework at GCSE. My favourite authors include Jane Austen, Edith Wharton and Rebecca Yarros, but I was inspired earlier by Alexandra Bracken, Rick Riordan and Soman Chainani who really shaped my love of literature.

I have a relaxed and friendly approach to learning, willing to do weekend tutoring, and a genuine passion for everything English and Classics. Having recently done GCSEs myself and currently doing A-levels, I know first hand the struggles of exam periods and am well acquainted with methods, essay structures and tips for doing well. I can do lessons from half an hour to an hour but may be willing to offer flexibility on timing. I can tutor up to GCSE level.
