About Raymond

I lived in France for two years where I worked as an English language assistant in middle schools. During this time, I gained invaluable language and cultural knowledge that I now love to incorporate in lessons and share with learners of French! I am currently an introductory level instructor at the university level, but I also have French immersion classroom instructional experience with students ages 4 though 18. I have a passion for teaching and I enjoy sharing my love for the French language with motivated learners! I also love music and like to center lessons around French song lyrics. We can even sing in class if you want!

About the lesson

I believe in a communicative language teaching approach, which means I take an approach to the second language learning experience that emphasizes interaction as the goal of second language study ! Lessons center around practical skills that prepare learners for realistic interaction in the target language, ex: How to give and ask for directions, order at a café, tell a story about your day. I make lessons engaging and fun! I can adapt lessons for learners of any level
