About Avishi
I’m a UC Berkeley student with a strong background in mathematics and several years of experience working with students. I’ve been tutoring students through Mathnasium and Agoura Math Circle, and I’ve also taught children ages 4–15 through Code Ninjas. These experiences have taught me how to work with students of different ages, learning styles, and skill levels.
I’ve completed advanced high school mathematics, including AP Calculus AB and BC, and I earned a 5 on both exams. I’m comfortable tutoring everything from foundational elementary math to advanced high school math, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus.

Math doesn’t have to be stressful or confusing! My goal is to make every lesson comfortable, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether you’re struggling with the basics, preparing for a big test, or looking to challenge yourself, I’ll work with you at your own pace and help you build both your skills and confidence.
I focus on explaining concepts in simple, easy-to-understand ways rather than just giving you the answer. We’ll work through problems together, identify what’s challenging, and develop strategies you can use independently.
From elementary math to advanced high school math, I’m happy to help with homework, test preparation, reviewing difficult topics, or simply getting ahead. Let’s make math feel a lot more manageable!
