About Archie
Hi, my name is Archie. Students tell me I am passionate and engaging. I have a love for anything medicine amongst a few extracurriculars, I am currently studying at UCL medical school and have just finished my second year and am about to undergo a year in researching Oncology (the study of cancers). I have clear communication skills and a patient, supportive teaching style to help students build confidence and master complex concepts. I genuinely enjoy breaking down challenging topics and tailoring explanations to suit individual learning needs. With a deep commitment to professionalism and a warm, approachable manner, I create a positive, focused learning environment. My experience mentoring peers and tutoring students has strengthened my ability to inspire curiosity and academic growth. I aim not only to teach but to ignite a lasting passion for science.

Syllabus-specific taught lessons across any of the leading UK exam boards, structured around how examiners write questions, to ensure you are most prepared for anything you could be asked. Lessons can consist of: 1. Teaching the content, 2. Practising questions, 3. Stretching and researching around the subject to better understand the topic beyond what the syllabus teaches. This helps to access those few hard-to-get marks that differentiate among the top grades. I adapt the sessions to any individual student's level and needs, setting monthly goals to achieve their target grades. Whether that be getting them started and encouraging and nurturing their learning whilst getting them enthused by the topic or pushing the most ambitious pupils to achieve what they are most capable of.
