About Sarah
I have been working professionally in the education field for nearly 10 years through tutoring and teaching. I have my teaching license and have been working in Chicago for the past 6 years as a teacher, I have achieved my ESL endorsement, and I am currently working on my Master's degree in Literacy. I have experience with teaching high school and elementary school. I want to help anyone close any academic gaps that they or their child may have.

My lessons will follow research based strategies that I currently implement as a teacher. Students will experience a gradual release of responsibility when it comes to their work. I will divide my lessons into explicit instruction, guided practice, and then independent practice with assessment.
