I believe in retrieval practice with what has been taught and focusing on topics you struggle with more than ones you are confident with, but still recapping those as it is crucial to also maintain this known knowledge and expand on it if possible. This is because research suggests that within one hour, about 50% of new information is forgotten, and within 24 hours, that number can rise to 70%.
