About Dd

Hi! I’m a current Year 12 student in Adelaide with a strong interest in Biology and the health sciences. I am currently completing SACE Biology and plan to continue my studies at university in Medical Radiation Science.

Having recently studied the same content that younger students are learning, I understand how overwhelming Biology can sometimes feel, especially when it comes to remembering terminology, understanding complex processes and applying knowledge to exam-style questions.

I enjoy breaking difficult concepts into simpler explanations and helping others understand the “why” behind Biology rather than just memorizing information. I’m patient, friendly and approachable, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.

My goal as a tutor is to share the study techniques and strategies that have helped me while also adapting my teaching to suit each individual student.

About the lesson

My Biology lessons are designed to make difficult concepts easier to understand and help students feel more confident with the subject. As a current SACE Year 12 Biology student, I understand the curriculum, assessment expectations and the areas students often find challenging.

Lessons will be adapted to each student’s needs and may include explaining concepts step-by-step, going through classwork, creating effective study notes, practising SACE-style questions and improving test and assessment preparation.

I aim to create a comfortable and supportive environment where students can ask questions freely without feeling pressured. Rather than simply memorising information, I will help students understand the biology behind each concept and learn how to apply their knowledge to questions.

Lessons are suitable for students from Years 7–12, including students studying SACE Biology.
