About Dakota
I am a lifetime learner and I never want to be in a mindset where I believe that I know everything or that there isn't something going on around me that I can learn from. One of my professors in college called her students scholars, and explained the weight and significance of being this word. I embrace learning and never think the lesson is above, below, or beyond me.

I believe most of us learn by doing this multiple times by ourselves, but we have to first have confidence that we can. I support and teach once thoroughly and then walk alongside and answer questions along the way as the student learns to navigate the material on their own.
I have an incredible amount of patience and I am willing to help someone succeed after failure. I also have a passion for empowering learners to do hard things. In that process, there is so much confidence and boldness that comes for problems that arise in the future.
I can teach math and science up to the high school level and some college. I can also help with exam readiness for things like ACT, SAT, and AP exams.
