About Mario
For the longest time, I wanted to become a Physical Therapist. In order to achieve this old goal of mine, I worked as a PT Tech for 4 years. Additionally, I started my career as a research assistant. Over time, I realized that research was the field for me, so I got my M.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology and pursued my thesis. In addition to being a PhD student, I am also a graduate part-time instructor. I teach Exercise Testing and Prescription labs for undergraduates and I have taken a class to improve student learning.
