I am a former college and professional basketball player. I spent 3 years as a college basketball coach before transitioning to middle school teaching. At heart, I love helping kids reach their potential, and pride myself on my ability to build relationships and communicate clearly.

I take my time to understand my students and figure out how they learn best. I am very capable of explaining things via words, pictures, or examples. I like to start with learning what my students know, then figuring out what they are struggling with, and then giving them some challenging questions to see if they understood my teaching.
