About Lee

As somebody with ADHD I often found it challenging to engage at school, finding lessons full and difficult to focus on. This led to me having to find methods to help me study independently, so I could achieve highly.

I have developed some creative methods that helped me understand difficult concepts, and to study more effectively.

Within a year, I turned my own grades around and would love to pass the methods I used for study along to current students!

If you’re interested; I can guarantee my lessons will be effective, creative, enjoyable, and tailored to individuals needs.

I have 2.5 years experience working in schools, and feel that I have a lot to offer!

Furthermore, I am happy to offer help writing personal statements for university applications, alongside interview advice for prospective med students!

About the lesson

I’m keen to provide GCSE math tutoring, but also am able to tutor younger students if needed! Having just completed A-level math I feel I have the skills to do this!

I also studied Chemistry and Criminology, and would be willing tutor GCSE students!

My lessons will range from 1 hour, to 1.5 hours- based on what students would prefer. I can be flexible with scheduling and lesson times so please reach out if you would like longer/shorter lessons.

My teaching is person centred and intuitive, and I intend to work with students on a case to case basis and build from their strengths! You can’t teach a fish to climb a tree, so it is important each student is being taught in a way that is correct for them, as everyone learns differently.

I aim to establish proactive study techniques for students that may struggle with independent study, so that alongside subject tutoring they also can complete self learning that will help with their time studying after secondary school.

I will teach concepts in ways that are understandable, and work with students on the areas they need extra help to ensure they are getting the most possible from their lessons.

I will teach students exam techniques to help them pick up as many extra marks on exam papers as possible, learning how to answer the questions is vital for any student in any subject.

I teach primarily online, and look forward to meeting you soon!
