About Manavee

Hi! My name is Manavee and I study law at university as I aspire to be a barrister and advocate in the future. I am currently a student therefore I am up to date with the school curriculums and most importantly, I am determined and passionate to get my students the best possible grade therefore I will go above and beyond to ensure they achieve their desired grade.
I have had almost 3 years of tutoring experience and have been part of two different tuition companies. As a result, I have familiarised myself with the school curriculum and have taught both privately and in a group. I specialise in 11+ and English language and literature, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I have done the 11+ exams myself and have received an A*/A in the subjects that I teach. I have resources and materials already collated and have an enhanced DBS certificate.

I like to structure my lessons by adapting to a student’s specific way of learning and ensuring I use a range of learning techniques that are both engaging and useful. I plan lessons prior, so I know what I will be teaching the student and it helps me stay organised as the lessons run more smoothly. My ultimate aim is for students to improve both their confidence and achieve the highest grade. I always check with a student at the end of the lesson to ensure the lessons was productive and ask for feedback so that I can take it in a positive and constructive manner and to make future lessons even better!
