About Ríain
I am a 6th year student based in Cork, I attend Cork Educate Together Secondary School and I am qualified from UCC to tutor math up to a Junior Cert Level. I've always had a passion for math and often host 'grinds' calls for my friends before an exam and they all benefit from it greatly. I am looking for the opportunity to do this for others who may not have that same passion for math as me or those who want to improve their results.

My approach to math is not only to try to achieve a better result for the student, but to nurture a positive and healthy relationship with math, giving the student an understanding of what is going on rather than solely rote learning methods and not understanding how to apply them. This is especially important as the way the Junior and Senior cycle is moving towards is more application-based rather than rote learning.
