About Max
I'm current BA History student at the University of Exeter which currently ranks 6th in UK complete university guide for History. I achieved 6A*s and 4As at iGCSE and subsequently 2A*s and an A at A-level studying Geography, Politics and History. I have previous teaching experience as a Cadet Company Sergeant Major and employee at Abingdon School Combined Cadet Force teaching students aged 13-18. Although this was not academic my pupils seemed to enjoy themselves and feel as though they'd learnt something of value. Having worked for a school I have also passed an enhanced DBS check. Furthermore, I have secured a place at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst on the completion of my degree course.

My teaching method would depend entirely on the level of study of a pupil. I cannot claim to be an expert in all areas of history so for higher level students I can offer an essay writing clinic focused on historic or political critical analysis and the development of concise arguments while ensuring historical accuracy. With lower level students my approach would be more interactive and focused on understanding the fundamentals of what ever historical period is under investigation and of course trying to have some fun along the way! The first 30 minute lesson is FREE and any lesson after that would be 60 minutes for £10.
