About LilY

I am deeply passionate about English as a subject and I believe understanding storytelling can be deeply fulfilling. I have in-depth notes that granted me top grades at GCSE level and I have many transferable skills which can be applied to multiple different exam boards and texts. I will be a committed and dedicated tutor, not only intending to get you the best grades you are capable of, but also to allow you to appreciate stories on a personal level as well as an academic one. I will also be available to tutor year 7 - year 9 students, helping them start their journeys with literature and creative writing and helping them prepare for end of unit tests, end of year exams, as well as preparation for the start of their GCSEs. I am a first-time tutor so I will be offering reduced rates for as many hours a week as needed. I hope you're interested and do not hesitate to contact me with further details. About the lesson

I am a first-time tutor for GCSE English Students. I will be offering lower rates to match my experience level, but what I lack in specific tutoring experience I make up for in passion. My teaching methods will be very much meeting you where you're at. I will be adaptable and empathetic to your needs. I can help students of multiple skill levels, helping you to reach the best possible grades. As well as GCSE students, I can also help students between year 7 and year 9 with their English studies, helping prepare them for GCSEs. Our sessions will be a combination of discussions to get students engaging with the texts, answering their questions and helping with their specific difficulties as well as exam skills and essay practice as we progress through the sessions.
