About Eldho

My name is Eldho Jaison, and I am currently a dental student at the Medical University of Plovdiv. Studying dentistry has provided me with a deep understanding of science, anatomy, and problem-solving, while also teaching me the value of patience, communication, and empathy. These skills have not only shaped me as a future healthcare professional but have also fueled my passion for tutoring children.

As a dental student, I am constantly learning how to break down complex concepts and explain them in simple, digestible ways—whether it’s explaining a scientific theory or demonstrating a practical skill. This ability to simplify complicated ideas has translated perfectly into my role as a tutor, where I help children grasp difficult subjects like math, science, and reading. I am enthusiastic about teaching because I love seeing students overcome challenges and grow in confidence.

About the lesson

Creating a Customized Learning Plan
Individualized Approach: Based on the initial assessment, I develop a personalized learning plan for the child. This includes the subjects to be covered, specific skills to focus on (like math, reading, or science), and a timeline for progress.
Aligning with School Curriculum: I ensure that the content aligns with what the child is learning at school, providing supplementary materials where necessary to reinforce understanding. Active Tutoring Sessions
Step-by-Step Explanations: During each session, I break down topics into manageable steps, ensuring the child understands the basics before moving on to more advanced material.
Practice and Application: After explaining a concept, I provide exercises and practice problems to ensure the child can apply what they’ve learned. For subjects like math or science, I may include practical, real-life examples to enhance understanding.
Encouraging Critical Thinking: I encourage students to ask questions and think critically about the material, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter and encouraging independent learning.
