About Maria

As a former economics adjunct professor, I have experience teaching 200+ students. On top of that, I work for an economist at Columbia University so I am on the ground, staying up to date on economic topics. I am also proficient in Stata and intermediate with R and Python.

I hold an MS in Applied Economics and Public Policy from Pace University.

About the lesson

I am an enthusiastic tutor that aims to bring real-world examples into abstract concepts. We will start by laying out a game plan, and following through lesson by lesson to ensure that you are successful.

I teach high school and college economics, including but not limited to macroeconomics, microeconomics, political economics, and environmental economics.

Please note that I am only available to tutor on weekends.
